Tuition & Financial Aid Options

CURRENT TUITION SCHEDULE

We believe that a quality Christian education should be accessible. If you live in West Virginia or Virginia, there may be special programs and financial aid options available to help your family. We are here to welcome you and guide you through the process of understanding your eligibility.

Current Lighthouse Baptist Church members may also be eligible for a tuition discount in all of our schools. Please contact the school office for specific details regarding eligibility requirements and further information.

We also value the leadership of our fellow ministry partners. Pastors of churches of like faith and doctrine may qualify for a discounted tuition rate. We invite interested pastors to contact the school office for specific details regarding eligibility requirements and further information.

West Virginia – Hope Scholarship

Families in West Virginia who have children in the Lower, Middle, or Upper School can utilize individual state-funded scholarship accounts. You may visit the official Hope Scholarship site to learn more or contact our school office for personalized guidance on how these funds apply to LBCS.

Requirements for Admission

  • Be in agreement with the LBCS Statement of Faith and handbook, understanding that these biblical convictions and policies shape every aspect of our teaching, philosophy, and school culture.

  • Recognize the importance of active involvement in a Bible-preaching, Bible-teaching local church. While membership at Lighthouse Baptist Church is not required for admission, elementary families must provide a church attendance statement, and high school students must submit a pastoral recommendation.

  • Proof of Age: Kindergarten students must be five (5) years old on or before August 15th. All students must submit a state-issued birth certificate. A copy must be kept on file in the school office.

  • VA Child Health Records (Contact the school office to find out what specific health records are required)

Virginia – Accord Kids

The Accord Kids program in Virginia is set to begin in January 2027. We encourage interested families with children in the Lower, Middle, or Upper School to reach out to the school office today for more details about this upcoming opportunity and how to prepare.

Admissions

We are honored that you are considering LBCS for your child’s education and spiritual growth. Before completing the application, we encourage you to visit our DISCOVER MORE page to learn more about the mission and vision of Lighthouse Baptist Christian School.

Step 1: Apply

Begin this exciting journey by submitting an application to LBCS. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, but it is the first required step before moving forward with the enrollment process.

Step 2: Visit

Once you apply, you will be contacted by email to set up a campus tour and indroductory meeting with the administration.

Step 3: Enroll

Once your student has been accepted, you may complete the enrollment process to secure their place for the upcoming academic year. You will receive an email notification regarding your child’s acceptance to LBCS. If accepted, the email will include a link to access and complete the required enrollment documents.
