A Faith-Filled Foundation
We believe education shapes far more than academic success—it helps form a child’s understanding of God, themselves, and the world around them. That is why we intentionally integrate a biblical worldview into every part of the learning experience.
What does that look like? Our students study life sciences as evidence of God’s creative design. They are encouraged to develop their talents and abilities in areas such as art, music, and academics as opportunities to honor and glorify the Lord. In every subject—reading, writing, mathematics, history, science, and beyond—our teachers strive to connect truth back to the foundation of Scripture.
Christ-honoring, meaningful relationships
We believe every child deserves to be surrounded by teachers and friends who genuinely care for them and value who they are. Our goal is to cultivate an atmosphere where the love of Christ is clearly seen and consistently experienced through meaningful, intentional relationships.
Because of our smaller class sizes, our teachers are able to know students personally—their strengths, learning styles, personalities, and individual needs. From encouraging kindness on the playground to teaching students to respect and value the perspectives of others, biblical character is woven into both classroom instruction and everyday interactions.
Emphasis on character building in the life of the child
Strong character is not built in a single moment or shaped by one event—it is developed through the daily influences and experiences that guide a child’s life. Qualities such as empathy, perseverance, discipline, and integrity are formed over time through the consistent investment of home, church, school, and everyday living (Deuteronomy 6:6–7).
At LBCS, character development is woven into every part of our academic program and reinforced throughout our school culture. From our youngest students to our upper grades, we seek to cultivate Christ-centered values through every lesson, interaction, and activity. Our desire is to plant the truth of God’s Word deeply in each student’s heart so it can produce lasting spiritual fruit for years to come.
