Excellence immersed in a Biblical worldview
Today’s young people face enormous challenges, including attacks on their faith, cultural pressure, confusion about truth, and the constant pull of materialism and worldly influence. In a rapidly changing world, students need more than academic preparation—they need a strong spiritual foundation rooted in the truth of God’s Word.
At Lighthouse Baptist Christian School, we strive to help students develop biblical convictions that will guide them through life’s challenges with wisdom, confidence, and grace. By integrating God’s truth into every aspect of education and student life, we seek to equip young people to stand firm in their faith, make wise decisions, and live with resilience, purpose, and hope in their walk with Christ.

"And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up." - Deuteronomy 6:7
The benefits of godly, wise instructors
While parents are a child’s first and most important influence, they cannot shape every voice or influence their child encounters. That is why it is so important to surround students with teachers, mentors, and role models whose lives consistently reflect a genuine love for Christ and a commitment to His Word.
At Lighthouse Baptist Christian School, students benefit from learning in an environment led by Christian educators who seek to model biblical truth both inside and outside the classroom. Imagine the impact of your child being taught each day by teachers whose faith is not merely part of a curriculum, but an authentic and visible part of their daily lives.

"The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master." - Luke 6:40
The influence of Christian friends
Whether praying together, competing on the athletic field, collaborating on a class project, or worshiping together in chapel, the experience at Lighthouse Baptist Christian School helps students strengthen both their faith and their friendships. Through daily interaction with peers and teachers who share biblical values, students are encouraged to grow in qualities such as accountability, forgiveness, compassion, and Christlike character.
The teenage years are deeply shaped by friendships and influence. Because students naturally become more like the people they spend time with, it is important to surround them with a community that encourages spiritual growth and wise decision-making. While no student is perfect, LBCS seeks to provide an environment where young people can build meaningful friendships with peers who share common values, support one another, and encourage each other to follow Christ.

"He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed." - Proverbs 13:20
A mission beyond the ordinary
LBCS students are challenged to grow academically, spiritually, and personally as they learn to think critically, work diligently, build meaningful relationships, and influence others for Christ. We believe a truly Christ-centered education reaches far beyond academic success—it helps shape the heart, character, and convictions of each student.
Our mission is to equip students to pursue biblical truth, strive for excellence in every area of life, and develop Christlike leadership that will impact their homes, churches, communities, and future vocations. Through strong academics, intentional discipleship, and a biblical worldview, we desire to prepare young people to live faithfully and make a lasting difference for the cause of Christ.
